Description
RB-1155 is a 1964 quarter pattern from the International Nickel Company experimental series. It is one of the quarter-size pieces INCO struck early in 1964, dated on the obverse and lettered TEST PIECE No. on the reverse, with a blank space where the alloy number was engraved or written in pencil. USPatterns.com's concordance has no entry for RB-1155; it gives RB-1150 for two alloys (Pollock-5205, 40% copper and 60% nickel, and Pollock-5250, 80% nickel and 20% chromium), one of which is probably this number. NGC lists it in its pattern census as 1964 INCO RB-1155 25C, and the number is Roger W. Burdette's, from Private Pattern and Related Pieces: International Nickel & Gould Incorporated (2019).
