1964-D Repunched Mintmark WRPM-006

Description

D/D North Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die variety listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1964-D 50¢ WDDO-003. A very strong tripled CCW spread from a pivot at about 11:00 shows on LIBERTY, IGWT, the date, the designer’s initials, and the hair at the top and back of the head. Numerous SW/NE die scratches can be found to the left of the top of the head and to the right of the entire back of the head. Reverse: Flanged G in FG. Obverse:
