Description
RB-3200 is a (1964-65) quarter-size piece from the International Nickel Company experimental series. It belongs to the alloy trials of 1964 and 1965, when the Treasury was looking for a replacement for 90% silver coinage before the Coinage Act of 1965. NGC lists it as (1964-65) INCO RB-3200 25C. The RB number is Roger W. Burdette's, from Private Pattern and Related Pieces: International Nickel & Gould Incorporated (2019); the sources read do not describe the design or alloy of his RB-3000 group.
