The 1950 Jefferson Nickel is a nickel from the Philadelphia Mint, belonging to the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. The Philadelphia Mint struck 9,796,000 nickels dated 1950. The obverse features Thomas Jefferson facing left and the reverse displays Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's Virginia estate.
