Carrying Cohen Index 44-64B, SKH-1c-1944-05 records the fifth documented spiked head on the 1944 Philadelphia Wheat Cent. Unlike the preceding entry's Cohen 44-85B, this lower Cohen number reflects a different die — each Cohen Index value maps to a unique working die whose surface sustained independent damage near Lincoln's portrait. The resulting spike projection differs in angle, length, and precise location, creating a distinct diagnostic profile.
