The 1937 Philippine Ten Centavos is a United States cent from the Philippines Ten Centavos 1903-1945 series — a late issue, 21st of 25 years in the series. In 1937, coins were struck at the M Mint. The obverse features a male figure seated beside a hammer and anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Struck during the Great Depression, when mintages dropped sharply and the United States abandoned the gold standard in 1933. A notable auction result reached $139 in MS65 grade at Heritage Auctions.
