Description
The 1937-M Philippine Five Centavos, struck at the Manila Mint, is part of the Philippines Five Centavos 1903-1945 collection. From 1937 the five centavos carried the arms of the Commonwealth of the Philippines on the reverse, with Figueroa's seated figure kept on the obverse. The Manila Mint struck them in copper-nickel in 1937, 1938 and 1941, with an M beside the date. The Red Book and the Krause catalogue record 2,493,872 pieces. Catalogue numbers: KM-180. PCGS number 90228.
