Description
The 1932-M Philippine Five Centavos is a cent produced at the M Mint as part of the Philippines Five Centavos 1903-1945 series. The obverse features a male figure seated beside a hammer and anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Struck during the Great Depression, when mintages dropped sharply and the United States abandoned the gold standard in 1933. Auction record: $552 MS65 03-31-2022 Heritage Auctions.
