Description

The 1928-M Philippine Twenty Centavos Mule is a cent produced at the M Mint as part of the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series. The U.S. Mint produced 100,000 examples. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil, while the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Designed by Melecio Figueroa. Struck in silver. Cataloged as PCGS #90316. The Philippine Twenty Centavos was struck in silver and saw active circulation in the Philippine Islands. The 1905-S is a scarce early date. WWII-era issues from the Denver and San Francisco Mints are more available.
