Description
The 1928-M Philippine Twenty Centavos Mule was struck at the Manila Mint as a twenty centavos coin in the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Minted during and after World War I, as America emerged as a global power and experienced the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties. Auction record: $10,200 MS66 04-25-2021 Heritage Auctions. Struck in silver, weighing 3.6 grams, 24 mm in diameter, with a plain edge. Cataloged as PCGS #90316.
