Description
The 1926-M Philippine Five Centavos is a cent produced at the M Mint as part of the Philippines Five Centavos 1903-1945 series. The obverse features a male figure seated beside a hammer and anvil, while the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Designed by Melecio Figueroa. Struck in copper-nickel. Cataloged as PCGS #90203. The Philippine Five Centavos followed the same design family as other Philippine denominations, struck at the Manila Mint (M mintmark), San Francisco (S), and Denver (D). Pre-war Manila Mint strikes are less common in high grade than U.S.-struck wartime issues.
