The 1915 (S) Special Strike Panama-Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Gold Quarter Eagle is a special strike Gold Quarter Eagle struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the Classic Gold Commemoratives (1903-1926) series. With a mintage of just 6,749, this is a rare issue sought by specialists. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by Charles Keck. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 1.7 grams, 14.3 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #523403.
