Description

1899/18/1. Repunching of the 1 and 8 shows west of the primary 1 and 8 in the date. An additional repunching shows a 1 south of the primary 1 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Light N/S die scratch through the left side of the lower right star. Reverse: Plus (+) shaped die scratch inside the C of CENTS. NW/SE die scratches through the first A and M in AMERICA.
