The 1874 Proof Dime Pattern - J-1352 is a proof dime pattern struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Metric & Stella Patterns (1874-1879) series. It was struck from the regular 1874 Seated Liberty dime dies. USPatterns.com believes the 1874 off-metal pieces from regular dies were struck on purpose for sale to collectors in complete sets, cent through double eagle, in copper and aluminum. Two copper examples are known. It is struck in copper with a reeded edge. USPatterns.com rates it R-8. It is also catalogued as Pollock-1496 and Adams-Woodin 1390. Cataloged as PCGS #61656.
