The 1805 Privately-issued Pattern page holds Montroville Dickeson's muling of a rusted 1805 quarter dollar obverse, a die the Mint had sold as scrap, with his 1792 eagle-on-shield die, struck probably in the early 1860s. The 1805 die survives at the American Numismatic Society.
