Description

A variety where the letter "P" appears in front of the bust's face on the obverse, rather than below the bust as on more common varieties. This is the scarcest major Voce Populi variety. Struck from lightly rusted dies, with minor porosity characteristic of nearly all surviving specimens.

Rarity Notes

URS-11. Approximately 11 traced. Very scarce; most survivors in lower grades.
