Brass, coded b, is the metal of Fuld IL-150Y-1b, struck from the same die pair 1 that F. Gall of Chicago used for the copper 1a. Title and NGC bracket it 1861-65. In a dealer's catalog entry for the copper striking, the merchant side names Gall's New York Meat Market in Chicago, and the reverse, stock die 1286, shows a bull with horns carrying two flags. Fuld numbers Chicago 150 and gives Gall the letter Y.
