Description
Fuld MA-115E-1b is a brass (b) card from die pair 1 of Jos. H. Merriam of Boston, Massachusetts, dated 1863. Fuld gives Boston the town number 115 and Merriam the merchant letter E. A dealer describing the copper striking of the same dies reads Merriam's side as naming him medalist, die sinker and letter cutter at No. 18 Brattle Square, established 1850, and the other side as a dog with "Good For A Scent" and the year.
