This circa 1867 copper medal, cataloged as JAB-27, features Andrew Jackson as the "Old Soldier" in copper — the standard base metal version of this presidential portrait design. While the brass version (PCGS #612699) offers a golden appearance, the copper JAB-27 presents Jackson's military portrait with the warm reddish-brown tones characteristic of Bolen's copper medalets.
