Description

ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-87 This atypical die clash show evidence of two clash events. A clash mark is seen on the top of the letters TAT in STATES, indicate by white arrows in the top image. This clash mark was generated by the field and the bottom of Lincoln’s bust. The second clash event can be seen as a faint line through the middle of the E in ONE and the C in CENT. This clash mark is generated by the top of Lincoln’s head and the field. This coin also features a RPM, listed as 1960D-1MM-102 in Coppercoins filing system. These clash events can be further recognized by the die chip in the left arm of the T in CENT and the die chip under the left base line of the Memorial building.
