1960-D Atypical Die Clash ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-70

Description

ADC-1c-1960D-70(SD) This is a tilted die clash that shows only on the reverse die on a small date 1960D Lincoln cent. A strong clash mark can be seen beginning at the N of ONE and going through the C of CENT. Another clash event can be seen as the line from the back of Lincoln’s coat is seen clashed from the bottom of the E in UNITED down into bay 3 of the Memorial building. These clash events found on this coin can be identified by the mint mark position and the strong die scratching seen through the date.
