1960-D Atypical Die Clash ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-68

Description

ADC-1c-1960D-68(SD) This 1960D small date Lincoln cent shows one clash event. The ADC rating comes from that clash being tilted. The image above shows the partial D clashed just to the left of the lower part of Lincoln’s back. That D is part of UNITED. Also noted in this image is the large die crack on the shoulder and the two smaller die cracks from the top of the letters ER in LIBERTY. The reverse die shows the strong clash mark left by Lincoln’s back as it passes just to the right of the D and down to the Memorial building roof.
