Description
The 2026 Walking Liberty Half Dollar Silver Medal is the one-ounce companion piece to the Best of the Mint Walking Liberty Gold Coin. Designed by Artistic Infusion Program artist Andrew Sides in an art deco style, this medal presents a modern reinterpretation of Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty motif. The design features a continuous scene spanning both obverse and reverse, sculpted by Medallic Artists Renata Gordon (obverse) and Eric Custer (reverse). Its Art Deco style is the one that followed the neoclassical style of Weinman's 1916 design. Struck in one ounce of 99.9% pure silver, this medal was struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
