Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub Doubling    "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesStrong Class VIII doubling shows on the large semicircular window above the center door.  Doubling also shows on the tops of the four columns, the right edge of the center door frame, and the top of the door to the right of the center door. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge in Jefferson's hair to the left of his left ear. Reverse: Die gouge above left long window; die gouge in field above left side of dome.
