The 2022 American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Gold is part of the American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Gold 1986 to Date series. The Mint sold 75,000 of these bullion coins dated 2022. The obverse is Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Liberty from the 1907 double eagle, in the version refreshed in 2021; the reverse, designed by Jennie Norris, is a close-up portrait of an eagle's head. Designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens (obverse) and Jennie Norris (reverse). Struck in 91.67% gold, 3% silver, 5.33% copper, weighing 16.97 grams, 27 mm in diameter. Cataloged as PCGS #896341. The half-ounce American Gold Eagle contains 1/2 troy ounce of 22-karat gold.
