Description
The 2020 American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Gold is part of the American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Gold 1986 to Date series. The obverse is Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Liberty from the 1907 double eagle, striding forward with a torch and an olive branch; the reverse, by Miley Busiek, shows a male eagle carrying an olive branch above a nest where a female eagle sits with their young. Designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens/Miley Busiek. Struck in 91.67% gold, 3% silver, 5.33% copper, 27 mm in diameter. Cataloged as PCGS #811461. The half-ounce American Gold Eagle contains 1/2 troy ounce of 22-karat gold.
