Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the fourth window from the left in the bottom row of windows and in the fourth window from the left in the second row from the bottom. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Hub defect in the upper opening of the R in QUARTER, this defect is known on multiple dies. N/S die scratch right of the T in LIBERTY. N/S die scratch right of the ponytail. Die gouge right of the bottom of the F in the designer's initials JF. Die gouge near the bust above the first L in DOLLAR. Die gouge touches the lower left side of the U in UNITED. Die gouge above the right side of the first T in STATES. Die gouge right of the R in AMERICA. Small die gouge above the left side of the U in TRUST. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: Die gouge between two branches SW of the Y in FERRY. Long die gouge below the lowest branch under FERRY. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Large die chip on the right side of the left roof. Die crack along the lower left corner of the right building. Die gouge in the upper second doorway.
