2016 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-080

Description

Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the second, third and fourth windows from the left in the bottom row of windows. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die crack across the base of the bust with die chips above the D in DOLLAR. Weak die dent at the rim above the left side of the last T in STATES. Die gouge in the hair curls NW of the ear. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: Die chip on the top of the guard tower. Retained break on the right side of the left roof. Die gouge in the field below the H in HARPERS. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Retained break on the left roof developed into a complete die chip.
