Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the bottom of the third and fourth windows from the left in the bottom row of windows. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die chip can be found to the left of the J in the designer’s initials. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die chip increased in size. NW/SE die scratches through the LI in LIBERTY. Large die gouge at the rim below the RT in QUARTER. Die gouge inside the lower opening of the N in UNITED. Stage B markers likely present in earlier stages. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Die chips on the left and right sides of the building, the left and right side of the left roof, and on the top right side of the guard tower. Die gouge near the outer ring below the branches under FERRY. Stage B markers may or may not be present in earlier stages.
