Part of the American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Platinum 1997 to Date series, the 2008 (P) American Eagle Twenty Five Dollar Platinum is a platinum coin from the Philadelphia Mint. The Mint sold 22,800 quarter-ounce bullion coins dated 2008 to its authorized purchasers. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty facing forward and the reverse displays an eagle soaring over the sunrise. Struck in 99.95% platinum, weighing 7.78 grams, 22 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #393106.
