Description

Doubling shows on the neck and the first lock of hair in the horse’s mane.Die Markers: Obverse: Die chip on the base of the bust above the left side of the D in DOLLAR. Weak NE/SW die scratch right of the L in LIBERTY. Thin E/W die scratches through the tops of the ST in STATES. Reverse: Pre-die break depressions above the left side of the cowboy's hat and along the left side of the horse's tail. Die gouge between the bottoms of the T and Y in LIBERTY.
