Description

Doubling shows on the right side of the 6th column to the left of the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge (dot) shows to the left of the I in IN. A die gouge (dot) shows below the N in IN. A die gouge (dot) shows below the G in GOD. A die gouge (dot) shows below the last T in TRUST. A die gouge (dot) shows on the upper right edge of Lincoln’s ear. Reverse: An area of die damage shows right of the bottom of the last Memorial column. A die gouge shows between the upper letters T and A in STATES. A series of die gouges (dots) show around the letters O and N in ONE. Two die gouges (dots) show between the letters E and N in CENT.
