Description
A partial image of the statue’s legs can be found slanted in the lower pedestal of the statue. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse was badly damaged. A better specimen may show significant die markers. Reverse: Two die gouges can be found above the left Memorial base. A die gouge can be found below the 2nd A in AMERICA. A die gouge can be found to the right of the center of the last Memorial column. A small die gouge can be found at the top of the last Memorial bay. Obverse:
