Description
The 2000 (W) Proof American Eagle Ten Dollar Platinum is a proof platinum coin struck at the West Point Mint, part of the American Eagle Ten Dollar Platinum 1997 to Date series. With a mintage of 15,651, this is a scarce issue — the lower-mintage of the two mint variants. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty facing forward and the reverse displays an eagle soaring over the sunrise.
