Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th column to the right of the statue’s legs. Additional doubling shows between the knees on Lincoln’s statue. Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: A minute die gouge (dot) shows left of the lower 2 in the date. A ridge ring shows to the right of the lower tip of Lincoln's bust. A die gouge (dot) shows between upper E in WE and first T in TRUST. Two die gouges (dots) show above and below the right side of the B in LIBERTY. A minute die gouge (dot) shows to the right of the R in LIBERTY. Two die gouges (dots) show on the upper shoulder fold of Lincoln’s jacket, well left of the buttonhole. Stage B: New obverse die. A die gouge can be found above the right side of the first 0 in the date. A small die gouge can be found left of the upper I in IN. A large die gouge can be found right of the lower S in TRUST. A light horizontal die clash is visible inside the middle of the ear. Reverse: Stage A: A die gouge shows to the left of the upper F in OF. A series of three die gouges show on the left side of the Memorial roof above column and bay 3. A die flow line runs to the rim from lower left edge of the O in ONE. Stage B: The Stage A markers are still visible, but weaker. Several small die gouges can be found in the upper third Memorial bay. A die gouge can be found right of the middle of the N in ONE. A small die gouge can be found slightly above and well right of the last 0 in the date. Stage B: The Stage A markers are weaker but still visible. A die gouge can be found below the right side of the second 0 in the date. A die gouge can be found touching the top right first T in TRUST. A die gouge can be found right of the first T in TRUST. Reverse: Stage A: A die gouge can be found inside the lower E in STATES. A small die gouge can be found left of the E in E PLURIBUS. Two small die gouges can be found touching the inside left side of the right leg of the R in PLURIBUS. A small die gouge can be found below the S in PLURIBUS. Stage B: The Stage A markers are weaker but still visible. A die gouge can be found below the left side of the N in UNITED. A heavy die scratch runs from the upper left seventh column southwest to the lower right fifth column. Obverse:
