Description

Extra knees can be found to the left of the statue’s normal knees. Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: A large die gouge can be found left of the lower G in GOD. A large die gouge can be found well south of the N in IN and G in GOD. A small die gouge can be found left of the lower first T in TRUST. A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the second zero in the date. A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the last zero in the date. Stage B: New obverse die. A strong die gouge can be found well north of the B in LIBERTY. Die gouges can be found south of the first two zeros in the date. Numerous die gouges can be found above the VDB. Reverse: Stage A: A die scratch runs southeast from the bottom of the Memorial below the 8th column. A short die gouge runs northeast from the top of R in PLURUBUS. Stage B: The Stage A markers are still present. A short, nearly vertical die gouge can be found inside the upper U in UNITED. A short, vertical die scratch can be found inside the C in AMERICA. A die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the 1st U in UNUM. A die gouge can be found between the N and E in ONE. Obverse:
