Description
Moderate to strong fluting line extension, into the styloabte, under columns 2 and 3. Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8, with an offset direction of 190°. The obverse of this die also has weak trail lines from the tops of the 9s in the date with an offset direction of 060°. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – small die gouge to the left of the L in LIBERTY. Reverse is MDS – die gouge to the lower right of the N in CENT.
