Description
Doubling shows on the right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die scratches run from north to south between the T and Y of LIBERTY. A die scratch runs SSW from the lower back of the head just above the back of the neck. Reverse: A die gouge touches the left side of the bottom of the U in UNITED. A die gouge can be found inside the right side of the U in UNITED. Two die gouges can be found to the right of the upper 12th column. A die gouge can be found to the right of the 2nd A in AMERICA. Double die clash marks can be found in the 3rd and 4th Memorial bays. Obverse:
