Description
Fluting line extension is seen entering the stylobate under columns 2 and 3. Moderate step deviation occurs under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. Trail lines are seen on some of the letters of the EPU. All the trail lines, the fluting line extension and the step deviation have an offset direction of 200 degrees.
Die Markers
- Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – die gouge under the E of LIBERTY.
- Reverse is LDS – diagonal die scratch in bay 5. Small die gouge under the N of ONE.
