1988D-1DER-004T Trail Die Reverse

Description

The first quadruple trail die to be found. The first set can be found on the designer’s initials with an offset direction of 070°. The second set can be found on the C and E of CENT with an offset direction of 120°. The third and strongest set is found on the motto EPU and the first S and A of STATES. The last set is found on the ER of AMERICA. Exactly why there are so many different directions of trails is unknown at this time. However, they all appear to be made from movement of the die against the hub.
