Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA close spread toward the center shows on STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right. Slight doubling shows on CENTS and the right side of the building.

Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-003.
Reverse: Die gouge (dot) to right of second O of MONTICELLO; short diagonal die scratch above small right window; diagonal die scratch above and to right of right arch.
