1963 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-103

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-225.  It replaces the original WDDR-103 listing which was delisted because it was too minor.  Strong Class II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right.  Doubling also shows on the right side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die dot to right of first column; die dot to upper right of first L of MONTICELLO; die dot below E of FIVE.
