1962 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-092

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-173.  It replaces the original WDDR-092 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub (See WWHR-002 below).  A close Class II constant spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  A very close spread shows on FIVE CENTS and MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Short die gouge below Jefferson's bust. Reverse: Small die dot above and between the second L and O of MONTICELLO; short, almost horizontal, die scratch near top of left arch.
