1962 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-089

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-162.  It replaces the original WDDR-089 listing which was delisted because it was too minor.  A strong Class II tripled spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, decreasing from left to right and showing best on STATES.  A lesser spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, FIVE CENTS, MO of MONTICELLO, and the left side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Vertical die gouge at lower right of P of PLURIBUS; small die gouge (dot) to upper right portion of F of FIVE; short vertical die gouge to upper right of E of FIVE.
