1961 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-052

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE.  A closer spread shows  on E PLURIBUS UNUM, ELLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building.  All spreads increase slightly from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Short, slightly slanted die gouge to right of lower portion of queue. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) on inner lower portion of O of OF; series of almost horizontal die scratches above left arch and small left window.
