Description
Strong spread toward the center shows on OF AMERICA, DIME, right edges of all the oak leaves, elements of the oak branch and the right dot. A CW spread from a pivot of 11:00 shows on ONE DIME. Die Markers: Obverse: Type I. Die gouge SE from the rim at 12:00. Die gouge SW from the rim at 1:00. Reverse: Trumpet tail mintmark. Slightly diagonal die scratch south from the lower acorn to the S of PLURIBUS. Die scratch NNE/SSW through the left inside leg of the M in DIME. Die scratch NNE from the upper right side of the M in DIME. Gouge NE from the top of the R in AMERICA. Die gouge above the M in AMERICA. Obverse:
