Description

Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Sans Serif Mintmark. A short, horizontal die gouge can be found to the left of the upper 6. Short vertical die scratches run through the LIBE in LIBERTY. A horizontal die scratch connects the lower letters in WE. Obverse Stage B: Die chip in the field to the right of the bow tie. Small die scratch on the top of the I of IN. Reverse Stage A: A nearly vertical die scratch can be found between the M and E in AMERICA. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch on the right edge of the first A of AMERICA. Faint N/S die scratches show between the C of CENT to the top of the N of UNITED. Obverse Stage A:
