Description
Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Sans Serif Mintmark. Faint die scratches are seen running north from the tops of TY of LIBERTY. Die gouge in the crease of the W of WE. Obverse Stage B: Two die scratches running north and south shows in the field to the upper left of the 1 of date. Reverse Stage A: Die scratches above and above right of the N of UNITED. Die gouge in the field below the left bottom leg of the N of UNITED. Two small die chips are seen on the second S of STATES; One on the upper right edge and a second centered on the right side edge of the S of STATES. Reverse Stage B: Second reverse. Die scratches running north and south inside upper left of the O in OF. Faint die scratches are seen running north and south inside and below the lower C of CENT. Two die scratches show running north and south above and through the upper arm of the E of CENT. Die crack running south from the bottom left leg of the N of ONE. Die crack starting at the rim next to the right wheat stalk running west then south down the edge of the right wheat stalk then turning east towards the rim ending in the field between the wheat stalk and the rim.
