Description
D/D Tilted (Rotated)Die Markers: Obverse: Short NE/SW die scratches inside and behind the ear. Short NW/SE die scratch below the ear. Short die scratches extend N and NW from the bridge of the nose. Die gouges on both side of the last T in TRUST. Die gouge midway between the L in LIBERTY and the mouth. Reverse: Concentric die scratch on the rim from the T in UNITED to the I in AMERICA. Thin E/W die scratches through the left side of the olive branch between the two olives, the upper part of the oak branch, and the US U in EPU. Strong NW/SE die scratches between the E in ONE and the D in DIME. NW/SE die scratch from the lower acorn, through the first U in UNUM, to the stem of the oak branch.
