D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is also a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1946-D 1¢ WDDO-022. A Class II spread towards the center shows on the date. Die scratch SW from right inside center of the 9 in the date. Reverse: A strong die gouge runs west from the top of the P in PLURIBUS. A die gouge runs from west to east through the center of the L in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
