Description
D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratch on edge of the 9 in date tail running east. Die crack from the upper side of the ear that runs in a NE/SW. Light NNE/SSW die crack above the eye. Light NNW/SSE die crack on the cheek. Obverse Stage B: Die scratch on edge of 9 in date tail running east is now very faint. Die chip at right center of the 4 in the date where the two bars meet. Reverse Stage A: Long die scratch inside the E of CENT, two small die scratches seen on the inside bottom left corner where the center bar meets with the vertical bar. Die scratch at the base of the N of CENT running south. Reverse Stage B: X shaped die scratch connecting the bottom of the T in CENT to the second T in States. NNW/SSE die scratches at the left of USA. Obverse Stage A:
